230 diggs yet no Front Page

I am totally disappointed with digg algo after the story - 24 Digital Spy Tools To Capture, Protect, And Secure Data - could not make it to front page even after getting 230 diggs, 110 non friends, 48 comments and 2 buries as reported by Ajaxonomy BuryRecorder. What is more disappointing is that even after 2 ½ hours, there is only 1 story on digg front page that has more diggs than this story. This was the 3rd consecutive story that failed to hit the front page. The current Digg algo somehow seems to be more partial towards new users and low activity users.

There is some evidence that power users that submit articles go to the front page faster than articles Dugg by use normies.

There is also now evidence that the more friends you have the more Diggs it takes to get to the front page.
